The setup guide still recommends version 11 of PostgreSQL, but according to PostgreSQL: Versioning Policy this version will reach EOL at the end of this year. When setting up a new openBIS instance I’d rather choose a version that gets support for a longer period. What are the plans for openBIS and newer postgreSQL versions?

Dear Jörg,
Our last release openBIS 20.10.5 has support for both Postgres 11 and Postgres 15 with the intention that everyone can migrate their database to version 15.
Please when doing remember to keep a backup of your Postgres 11 databases since they cannot be downgraded.
