Dear openBIS enthusiasts,
we are thinking of integrating R shiny apps into the openBIS interface via application server service (AS service). Does anybody have some experiences regarding this, or an idea how to do it best. Possiblly via an extension of the ELN interface?

do you run your own openBIS service? A Shiny app needs a Shiny server to hos this. While you could embed the app in an openBIS ELN UI (ELN-LIMS WEB UI extensions — Python documentation) to get the openBIS context, you still need to run an R session on the AS or on another server to host the R app.
