Dear openBIS users,

We would like to announce the availability of a maintenance update to the production version of openBIS, version 20.10.9.

Main new features and bug fixes

  1. Export and import of entities with images embedded in text. openBIS 20.10.8 introduced a new export/import feature, but support for images embedded in text was missing.

  2. Renamed “pdf” folder to “hierarchy” in export.

  3. Bug fix: pdf generation failed if form contained multiple colored spans.
  4. Bug fix: calculated values in spreadsheet printed as formula in pdf, instead of value.
  5. Bug fix in creating storage positions. This bug was introduced in 20.10.8.
  6. Changes to configuration for default eln-lims dropbox import. It is now possible to configure how hidden files and files with special characters in names should be handled when imported with the default eln-lims dropbox.

  7. Object properties in Excel file exported as identifiers instead of PermIDs.
  8. Show user account info in admin UI.
