I have one question related to control vocabularies in openBIS and would appreciate some clarification.
When I create a control vocabulary under Vocabulary Types, I define the values in a specific order, for example: C, B, A, E, D
However, in the Admin UI, when this vocabulary is assigned to a property, it is automatically shown in alphabetical order as:A, B, C, D, E
When i see same vocabulary on ELN, the order of the options appears random and does not follow either the original order or the alphabetical order.
For our use case, the exact order defined by the user is important and needs to be displayed consistently in openBIS / ELN.
Is there a way to preserve and display a custom order for control vocabulary values when used in properties?
