Inform users via email

Dear community,

I want to send an email to all (active) users of our multi-group instance. By this, I want to inform them about maintenance on the server or openBIS updates which come with new features for them.
Any options to do this? Is there a documentation I missed?

Dear Julia,

there is now default way of doing this in openBIS.
You would need to extract the list of users from the openBIS instance and create a dedicated mailing list that you can use to distribute information such as maintenance.
